Zonk! Pow! Grak!

I mentioned “Colorforms” to some friends at work today…and got nothing but blank stares. Sad. And I’m not that much older than them — one is only 2 years younger, and the other only 4 years younger. How could they have missed out on Colorforms back in the 70s? My favorite - circa 1972 - was the Batman edition.

  1. Wouldn’t you know it? When I read Colorforms, I was thinking COLIFORM. As in bacteria.

    Um, go figure?

  4. Other kids had them……I, sadly, did not. I did, however, have the largest and most prestigous Matchbox and Hot Wheel collection in the neighborhood; including miles upon miles of orange Hot Wheel track to go with the cars………..

  6. Hah,

I’m older than you I’m sure and miss them. My first was Miss Weatherbee, somewhere in the 1950’s. My last was a Little House on the Praire set I bought after I was married that was never played with.

Recently had a discussion about too bad they don’t exist anymore for a gift for a 3 year old relative. Just found out that they exist again, and during that search found you. Barnes & Nobels and Amazon apparently are carrying them, among others.
