Tattoo…Me?

5:42 pm

What if…I decided to get a tattoo? Here are some possibilities: an outline of the state of Montana; the words “Great Falls”; something from a Tarantino movie (but what?); or…? I’m not saying that I definitely will get one, but all this discussion lately about the hows and whys of people getting tattoos has really got me thinking…

  1. Dooon’t David… Don’t be a victim to the populists! Ask Mrs. S, and she’ll probably agree that it’s a bad idea. Plus [chooses next words] pretty soon, it’s going to see like a mid-life thing. Better not to have any tattoos.

  2. Yes, even highly educated, conservative, big sky girls get tattoos to help keep them grounded when they leave “home”. It is wonderful that you have opened your mind to the thought of getting a tattoo for YOU.

    Blessings!

  3. If you DO have something put on ya from a Tarantino film, it’s GOTTA be from Kill Bill!

  4. Well my econ teacher last yr, who is a former Ranger, told us that if we got a tattoo, he’d kill us. Soo….. and a lot of places don’t look highly at tattoos.

  7. I love my tatoo. I have a picture on my blog…a lotus blossom on my ankle. I am getting another one. This time it will be a tree frog on my arm near the elbow.

I put them in places they can be hidden for work reasons, or shown if I choose.

My tatoo artist said it would feel like a cat scratch on a sunburn and that was pretty much it. More irritating than painful.

That said, I would recomend being sure its what you want. I waited 15 years until I knew its what I wanted.
