Yep, I already ordered my “Snakes On A Plane” t-shirt. No, I’m not talking about the hilariously bizarre “Saturday Night Live” skit…I’m talking about the movie that is scheduled to be released this summer. The plot: well, take the 1970s flick “Fer-De-Lance” and elevate it to about 30,000 feet, I suppose. It really doesn’t matter, though - this movie has SAM JACKSON in it, and a bunch of snakes on a plane. ‘Nuff said.

  1. And now, a possible quote from the film, as written by Sam Johnson, age 39….

  2. David (and maybe “sam”)

    Who are you working for?
How much do you get paid an hour?
What metrics do you use to say that you have created “buzz” on the blogs?
Do you work for an agency or do you work for the movie studio?
What other parts of your buzz campaign involve blogs?
Do you also post in message boards or blogs on the right? (they often don’t allow comments so I guess not)
How many “personas” have you created?
Do you have a few key message points that you have to get across about the movie or do you just focus on the name with links to the movie?
Why link to those sites? Because it won’t be seen as commerical?
    How old are you?
Are you a man or a woman?
How many other movies or TV shows do you work on? Products? Services?

    Thanks for the info!

  3. LOL… I don’t think David’s real employer would like it if he started working for other companies.

  5. I think he is trying to say… you work for the company that is putting out this film… I think … and kinda calling you a girl.

  6. What I’m trying to figure out is who is behind the “blog buzz” campaign for the movie Snakes on a Plane. If you aren’t working for the company that was hired to promote it, then I’m trying to figure out where you first came upon the info about the movie.

Are you ironic about your interest in the movie and the T-shirt?

Sorry if it sounded out of the blue, but I’m tracking movie “buzz” campaigns and who buys into the buzz and who starts them.

    Thanks!

  7. Gee, Dave, he’s figured you out…you created this fake personality, raised it from a child for almost 40 years, waited for the Web to be invented so you could run this blog for six years, just so you could “create some buzz” for this movie. I just hope Dad doesn’t find out.

What I can’t figure out is, if you were a fictitious front for someone behind the movie, what difference would it make whether you were really a man or a woman?
