The peacock picture in the previous entry was from my visit to a small “ranchette” a few miles south of town, courtesy of my friend Savana and her family. Cows, chickens, and peacocks, oh my! I pet (petted?) a large cow and a baby cow, and held some chickens, and saw that way-cool peacock. And I also got to hold a baby peacock (aka a ‘peachick!’)! Savana’s dad showed me how to put a chicken to sleep, too. And the peacocks sure are loud! And some of the roosters really did do the “cock-a-doodle-doo” cry — just like on TV! It was sooooooo fun — here’s some more pictures!
