Yeah, you heard me. And for all of you grammar geeks out there, check this out.
I just love the word “buffalo.” The word, that is, not necessarily the creatures. I do, however, love bison, and if you think that they are the same thing: they are not. I also like the scientific term for bison: Bison Bison Bison!

So how do you feel about the city? It’s really cold, so that should earn it points with you.
Heh…and they get LOTS more snow than we do here in north-central Montana, so I would probably REALLY love it!
But on further reflection…nope — too many Easterners!
No. No. I saw this on Wikipeda the other day and flat refused to spend more than 60 seconds straining my brain over it. NO.
Not only does Buffalo get more snow (it’s referred to as Lake Effects snow), it’s also the location (well it’s a bit north of the actual location) of the OTHER Continental Divide: YES, there are two Continental Divides, the Western Continental Divide and the Eastern Continental Divide!
Beefalo?
It might give you some idea of my reading material for me to reveal that I’ve seen a similar Buffalo sentence before…
FWIW, my office neighbor moved here from Buffalo, NY.
Dave, practically the entire family is Easterners, except for you, Jon and Jen. Then again there are Easterners (as in people from the eastern part of the U.S.) and EASTERNERS, as in people from the Northeast. We have too many of them here, too. (Yeah, yeah, I know, but I grew up down here!)
So, how does one determine the intelligence of bull and cow bison?
Easy, Courtney. An intelligent bull maintains distance from questions like that.
Mark, heh heh, my plus-one agrees with you wholeheartedly…
I thought we resolved all these questions during the Bisontennial.
